    Error code (0x80070102) on PC


    Just found this issue today and couldn't find the answer searching so thought I'd post here and hopefully help someone with a similar issue.

    Had a fresh install of windows 11 and no xbox games would launch through the xbox app, all gave this error code (0x80070102). For me turns out the time zone was incorrect for the auto selection so changed my time zone to the correct one and checked the date and time where correct again and then everything was all good again.

    Simple fix but was fumbling around on google so took me a bit to work out, hopefully this saves someone some time.

    Just turned on my xbox for the first time in 2 months error code 0x800703fa

    Thank you for your answer.

    The first link applies to Xbox One Series X and I'm PC.

    The second link does develop a bit more on what I can do, I have gaming services installed and all windows xbox services enabled, I have the same account in the xbox app and MS store, time is synced automatically. I will check my router and see if there's something that my firewall is stopping when attempting to install the game but I have tried the solutions in the above links plus:

    1.halo infinite only , master chief works perfect

    2.it started from the moment I paid for it , I have never got to play the game I bought

    3.I've tried every suggestion from the community all have failed

    6. I bought the same game from Steam and have it all the way to the end without any errors.

    xbox for pc version is just Error code: (0x80070102). so sad to pay for a game and not be able to play it. I have also tried several times to contact support , no one has ever called back.
