Error code 0x800700B7 when trying to reinstall Xbox App (PC)

Hello,

I had Xbox app on my PC for almost a year with no issues. The other day, when I went to open xbox it would flash open and close instantly. This would happen when I tried to open any games that I have downloaded through the app as well.

I tried restarting pc, didnt work. Also tried some other solutions I found online, still didnt work.

I ended up uninstalling Xbox app, and now I am trying to reinstall it.

Whenever I go to reinstall it, whether its from the Microsoft Store, or from the XboxInstaller, I get the same Error code 0x800700B7.
I have tried everything listed in multiple threads (Ex. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...e/1f71fd81-0930-4457-8542-6de40f13bfa7?page=1 )

Has anyone encountered this issue and has a solution?

First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work:

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and try again.

The issue is still occurring.

Another thing I noticed is that when I try to open other Microsoft apps, ex. calculator or sticky notes, I get the issue I mentioned previously where it flashes and then disappears.

Thanks for the reply.

After repair/restoring gaming services, I tried to install the xbox app.

I got a different error: Error code: 0x8000000b

Is there a separate set of troubleshooting steps you can point me towards for this error code?

Or should I continue with this step:
