Error code 0x8007007b (NOT 0x8007007B)

I need help with an error I can't find anything about anywhere on the support system nor on the internet in general.

I am trying to launch the game Dead By Daylight, which is free on my Game Pass. I have tried re-installing it multiple times. When re-installing finishes, I get the 0x8007007b error, but when I click the retry button, the error goes away instantly (which
is honestly so weird that it's worrying). Then I can launch the game, but in-game it gives me another error, stating the game can't connect to online services and I know for a fact the problem is not with the servers themselves, as I have already contacted
the Dead By Daylight support team and they didn't find any solution for this issue and are hopefully working on it right now (they just told me to wait for a reply).

However, it seems to me the problem is not only in the game (if it even is at all) but in some way related with my Windows system files being misconfigured. I really need help with this problem, as I'm worried something is broken in my Windows OS system
files and the problems may get worse etc.

I have tried resetting my router, updating my windows and my drivers, re-installing the game multiple times on both of my drives. I have also ran scans from Command Prompt and Powershell ("sfc /scannow" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth"),
which have not helped. I have even tried making a new local admin account, as it seems to me the problem is in some way related to my account's access to the game files or something along the lines. Nothing has worked..

I very much hope for a reply and some help on this unique, weird and worrying issue.
