Error code 0x80070057 when first trying to start game, then Xbox 1X auto shuts down

I can understand this being very frustrating as I have encountered this issue myself in the past.

It usually stems from not having enough storage space on your internal or external hard drive, so you could have ran out of space.

Have you checked how much storage you have left? If you have plenty of space, it could mean you need to clear your cache by performing a hard reset. You can do this by holding the Xbox button down on your console until it shuts off, and then unplugging the
power cable from the mains. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and restart.

I'm with the same problem, every time I try to change the language to English (5.1 or stereo), Netflix shows an error message (without error code) and shut down. After 3 tryes, the movie became impossible to play, even in portuguese (it loads until 99%,
then do not load anymore).

The same happens in Fifa. When I tried to start, the game was shut down after the begining screen.

Do anyone found a solution?

Lucky you, at least your xbox stays on when the hard drive is connected. When I connect mine it auto shuts down, restarts then shuts down and restarts again... it stops untill I unplug it and it starts normal. Never had this problem before and NO! A HARD
RESET DOESN'T FIX IT!

When trying to play destiny 2 I get error code “0x800704490” and a message saying “something went wrong.” With apex I get the “getting your game ready” for about 2 minutes followed by a “Please try again” message with the error code “0x80070057”

At this point I’m almost considering trying to refund what I’ve bought on this Xbox cause I’m literally locked out of content I paid for and it’s beyond frustrating.
