    HI hive mind,

    I have been unable to access the Xbox store since the 23 October update with the error code 0x80070005 appearing.

    Xbox help have so far been unable to fix the issue.

    I have tried trouble shooting suggestions:

    Waiting - all systems should are listed as working

    Restarting the xbox

    Complete shutdown.

    Removing and re-adding my profile

    Deleting all profiles and re-adding them.

    Removing IPv6 (it wasn't enabled)

    Updating the xbox (yesterday)

    I haven't gone as far as reformatting the xbox yet.

    Any further suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Error code 0x80070005 is an access denied error. Did you take this other drive from a different PC or previous Windows install?

    Hi,

    Error 0x80070005 is an 'access denied' error code. It means that games and apps can't be installed due to file access restrictions.

    Did you use D:\ drive on a previous PC or previous install of Windows 10?

    Games and Apps on Windows 10 Store install to a folder called 'WindowsApps', if this folder already exists on your drive, you won't be able to install games.
