Error code 0x80070005 Can't install games im downloading through the xbox app, please help?

Error code 0x80070005, i've updated my drivers, and windows. I uninstalled xbox and the gaming companion, and reinstalled them twice, I've restarted my computer a few times throughout this process as well. The only thing i can think of is the app isnt using the admin priv's like it should be and i dont know how to fix that, there's no option for me to run as an admin when i right click on the app icon. Please send help, i wish to game with the boys.s

same here, I have xbox game pass for my pc, and im trying to install games through the Xbox app but when its finished downloading, it says ''error 0x80070005, i was trying to look online for help and nothing.

Or you may also try this:

Open the settings app >> select Accounts >> Click the Sign-in options >> scroll down to privacy and uncheck " Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart". >> Restart your device.

Error 0x80070005 is an 'access denied' error code. It means that games and apps can't be installed due to file access restrictions.

Did you use D:\ drive on a previous PC or previous install of Windows 10?

Games and Apps on Windows 10 Store install to a folder called 'WindowsApps', if this folder already exists on your drive, you won't be able to install games.
