    Hello Microsoft:

    I am trying to sign into my Xbox One, and for whatever reason it's saying that I can't log in and is giving me the error code
    0x800488FC every time I try to get in. I've tried restarting my system and signing in on a different location (my laptop) to see if it was just a glitch or if there was something wrong with my account, and my account seems to be fine, I could
    get in on my laptop without a problem, but I can't get on via my Xbox. What should I do? Is there anything I can do on my end to fix this?

    Same error code on my Xbox One X, when trying to sign in (0x800488FC); however, my Xbox One signs in just fine.

    Error code 0x800488FC on Xbox One

    I had this error so i switched to a different account that had not been logged into for around 6 months and it let me sign in, from there i was able to switch back to my original account without having the error occur again, hope this helps!

    Unplug your xbox for like 29 seconds and then try it again. It should work.

    go through the settings to power&start up too turn off or restart then click full shut down. while you do that log on your linked up email and reset the pass word. go ahead and restart your xbox and try to logon. As you may guess it say please log in.
    put your new pass word in and you should be good. FYI did this by accident..... but it worked so im playin now

    Error code 0x800488FC on Xbox One

    Just fixed it by doing a full shutdown by going to settings -> Power & Start up -> Click on Turn off or restart -> Full shutdown. Wait for xbox to turn off completely, turn it back on, and BAM! Signed back in!
