Error code: 0x80048051

I have recently been having trouble signing into my account on my xbox one. The past few days this has been happening but somehow fixed itself. However, all day today I was unable to sign into my profile. I have soft resetted my xbox one and it still doesnt
not work. I am able to sign in on outlook and view emails, and my xbox one has internet connection, but I cant sign in. When i try to sign in by voice it does nothing for a while then tells me to use the controller, then when i do that it sits there with the
spinning white circle before returning back to the sign in screen for a brief second, then goes back to the spinning circle before tellin me there was a problem trying to sign in. The error code is 0x80048051.

Note: my brother can sign in fine, but I cannot.

Also my Xbox one had a hard time running the Xbox Video app, resulting in blank tiles and occasional black screens, but this may be unrelated.

It is a mess yet the status says everything is working

i am sorry to hear you are having trouble signing into your Xbox one account. have you tried hard resetting your Xbox One (holding the Xbox button on the console for about 10 seconds then unplugging the power supply in the back for 30 seconds.)

BMXtro0per I held the power button down for 10 sec, then unplugged the power supply for 30 seconds, while it was unplugged I reset my router/modem... This seemed to fix the problem. This may just be a temporary fix, but I have not had a problem since then.

Having this same problem it won't recognize me and is unable to sign into Netflix and games. It just spins the white circle then pops up the error
