    Error Code 0x80040900


    What is going on with this error code 0x80040900? I have a very new Minecraft Edition Xbox One S and have been seeing this pop up at least once a week the past few weeks. Seems to correct itself once I hard boot and/or unplug, but also not sure that is
    good for the system repeatedly.

    A little help or explanation would be nice as it looks like a lot of people on the forums are having this issue too.

    Under what situations on your Xbox One S console does this error code typically appear for you?

    What you described is a
    power cycle     of your console which is actually a helpful solution to some issues you may run into and is not harmful to your console.

    If you try
    removing your profile     (please ensure you remember your account credentials before doing this), power cycling, and signing back into your account, does that help?

    This is what I could find for the error code mentioned:

    Have done all the suggested (uninstall and followed all the steps in the help/errors (minus a full console reset)) and still get the 0x80040900 error code. I assume the next step is a full console reset or is there any other angle to resolve this issue?
