Error code 0x80040900?

What is the deal with the error code 0x80040900, it is not on your website for error codes. Is it connected to the Minecraft better together update? As i think i have only recently seen this and i did just download that. Thank you for any help you provide.

Cannot redeem codes

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

I don't think it is related to that game, unless you are only experiencing it when you start that game.

First thing to try is the following:

- try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

If that fails then please let us know when you are receiving this error code, what exactly are you trying to do.

Without any further information it will be hard to advise what things to try other then some generic steps

ok, so i have been watching when it happens. it honestly only happens when minecraft is the last game i have played. usually what happens is i dashboard and then if i try to start another game it gives me that error code. also if i dashboard after quitting
minecraft and then hit the xbox button to bring up the home sidebar the screen will go dim like the sidebar is coming up but it never comes into view. I have had to hard reset my xbox so much in the last month because of this bug. it does not happen any
other time after i get done playing any other game. I even tried uninstalling minecraft and reinstalling it to make sure there was not an issue when it downloaded but that did not work.
