error code 0x80040210 when watching game dvr clips from friends

hello

i have a serious issue with my xbox one.

whenever i wantto watch a game dvr clip from a friend via upload i get this error. however i am able to watch edit and upload my own clips. i even can watch the clips from the main page of upload like top 10 battlefield moments etc.

i even contacted the support and after trying an offline update via usb which didn't work i was told to do a factory reset to solve my problem.

as you can imagine i wasn't very happy about this but maybe it helps.

well it didn't help. the error is still there. do you have any ideas what to do now?

any idea is appreciated

p.s. i hope you don't have too many troubles understanding what i mean since english isn't my first language

Error when editing video clips using the Upload Studio app.

Recently, I think after I have the update, I could not edit any of the video clips using the Upload Studio (or is it Game DVR) app. When I'm in the middle of editing, it'll show the following error:

Please choose a different clip

Sorry, there's a problem with that one and we need to remove it. (0x80040210)

Problem is, the video clip is not removed so now I can't edit or upload any clips at all. Help?

error code 0x87c40156

This Error Code means that you have to many Clips/Screenshots uploaded to Xbox Live and Xbox DVR fails to load them all, so you need to ether remove some Clips/Screenshots from Xbox Live (Those Clips/Screenshots will still be on your Console, just not on
Xbox Live for anyone to see) and if that doesn't fix the DVR Error then you have to delete some Clips/Screenshots completely both from Console and Xbox Live to fix this DVR Error so Xbox DVR will be able to load your Clips/Screenshots about For Honor and other
games.

Problem

You see the following error when you play a clip on your Xbox One console:

Error 80040210

This means we weren’t able to finish playing this clip because we lost connection to the Xbox Live service.

Solutions

Solution 1: In most cases, this issue should be a transient connection error. Try to open the content again in a few minutes.

Solution 2: If the problem persists, try the following:

Restart your network device.

Test your connection to Xbox Live:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to return to the Home screen.

Press Menu on your controller and select Settings.

Go to Network.

Select Detailed network statistics.

If you’re seeing more than 5 percent packet loss, you may want to troubleshoot your connection using the

Xbox One slow performance solution.

i have already tried it and nothing happend. after that i contacted the support like i said above.

contacted them again today and i got told that they don't know a fix for it right now.

i'm pretty upset right now. i mean i even did a factory reset yesterday and now i need to download everything again. would have been nice to tell me that they don't know a solution before i reset it :/

BMLIMO the error code you run into seems spread when using DVR in saving game clips and I hope someone will come along to solve it once and for all.

An improvised way to go around it is this, when the error code appears: go to end clip now and keep the last 5 min. Most of the times the clip is saved.

@Smartee, while some Android devices have an issue where audio does not play when watching game DVR clips, we have not seen this issue on any iOS devices. Is this happening on all game DVR clips?
