Error code 0x80040154

In regards to this matter, this seems to have something to do with Window update errors.

Have you confirmed that you Operating system [OS] is up-to-date?

I would encourage you to take a look at
this article and see if you are able to retrieve a fix from following this wizard.

I've had the same problem with 2 pcs now, the second one is just out of the box and was freshly patched up.

I'm getting error 0x80040154 on almost all the games at download. Update troubleshooter detects no problems, I've used powerconsole to uninstall and reinstall the xbox for PC app and games services. No help.

Since I've had this with 2 pcs, it makes me think its not THAT rare a problem.

Its done but i still get error 0x80040154

Windows update in settings is still broken.

I have even bigger issue, I buy an album from Music app on my surface pro. BUT I can't download it. It keep giving me error message 0xc1010003 (0x80040154). I tried searching it in the error code lookup and come up nothing. Does someone got this issue and
able to fix it?
