    this started happening today after I changed the gamma (Finder > Go > Library > Application Support > Minecraft > options.txt , and changed the gamma to 100.0). afterwards I of course changed it back to normal, but nothing changed. I've been looking for a solution this whole day and nothing seems to be working. Ive deleted the game, deleted the Minecraft files, multiple times, and yet nothing happened.
    when I try to login with my Microsoft account this message pops up

    "Error Code: 0x80004005 code: Eroded Badlands. A file that the Windows Product Activation (WPA) requires is damaged or missing. Please reboot, verify system permissions, and make sure your operating system is up-to-date. For more information, go HERE or contact Customer Support directly."

    Since I deleted the launcher, the options.txt file is no longer available.

    I am on macOs, hope anyone can help
