    Error Code 0x80004005, on Xbox One


    Been getting Error code 0x80004005 on Xbox one. can't do anything. Cycled the Xbox, rest modem tried plugging controllers into Xbox, nothing seems to work.

    Errors when trying to go to home from games or apps

    Are you using the Xbox One or Xbox 360 console?

    For the error codes I would recommend pasting the codes into www.xbox.com/errorhelp this will help you find a solution to the errors.

    Error 0x80004005 is typically associated with the 360 console and the support page for this error can be found below.

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup

    However for Error code 0x87b20c08 I did not find anything.

    If you are using the Xbox One, could you tell me if you are a member of the Preview Program?

    I've been getting this error alot recently. Whenever i try to go to the home screen from a game or app or try to get up the quick pannel on the left it takes a few seconds then pops up that error code and doesnt open the quick pannel or take me to the home
    screen. Sometimes it will take 4 or 5 attempts to exit a game or i just have to turn off my console.

    Troubleshoot for Xbox One

    Go to Settings>Blu Ray & Disk>Blu Ray>Clear Persistent Storage (3 times)

    Then go to Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC Address>Clear>Restart
