    Error Code (0x409) 0x80080300 on Xbox (Beta) app


    Hey, I've recently gotten the new Xbox app for Windows 10, and have been trying to get it to let me sign in for almost over a week, but it keeps saying that it cannot sign me in at the moment, I let it go for a day or so and it doesn't work still. I understand
    it's a Beta for it but still, every one of my friends has gotten a custom GP and with no hassles whatsoever. Is there anything I could do, apart from uninstalling or downloading a specific program, because I've tried both and they don't work.

    Hi,

    There are several reason why Xbox app will give you Error (0x409), in this case some of the components of Xbox app are maybe corrupted or the drivers of your PC needs to be updated.

    To resolve Error (0x409), we would suggest you try the following methods below:



    Method 1: Check for Store Updates.



    1. Open Windows Store. ( Press Windows key and click on Store tile)



    2. Click on the USER icon and select Download and update.



    3. Click on Check for Updates.



    4. If there are any pending updates available select Update All.





    Method 2: Reset Windows Store

    1. Press Windows key + X and click on Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Elevated Command Prompt. If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow

    2. Type WSreset.exe and hit Enter.

    3. Exit Command Prompt.

    Don't forget to let us know how it turns out.

    I'm getting an error code called (0x409) 0x80080300 i dont know how to fix this.

    The methods below didnt work.

    Unable to Sign into the Xbox Console Companion Error (0x409) 0x80080300

    I get the same issue but only on 1 pc, Reset Windows Stored app and Uninstalled and uninstalled Xbox Console Companion and stil unable to login (0x409) error.

    Unfortunately, the resource you shared does not have a solution for the issue I am facing (basis the image above). Every time in click on the sign in button, there is a window that pops up for a fraction of a second and then disappears
    and the error code (0x409) 0x80080300 shows up below the sign in button.

    Would you happen to have some other solutions for me to try?
