Error Code 0x00000007

i also can not download a missing datapack due to the same Microsoft Store error code. However i also receive the 0x00000007 error code as well. Both prevent opening any items detail in the store

Thanks for the advice. I didn't need to do that in the end. I just left it for a couple of hours and it was miraculous working when I returned.

I was then confronted with with another message telling me that couldn't purchase the game (even thought it's free!!) because I needed a billing account (even though I have a credit card and paypal account linked to the Xbox!!!), but not offering me any
way to add such billing account or any advice on how to create one. After 45 mins of googling and going round in circles, I found a web 1.0-style we page in the depths of the Microsoft website into which I entered my address (twice!)... and it worked.

Microsoft do like to challenge us don't they!

Anyway, its currently installing. I'm now wondering what fun (??!) I will encounter when I try and open it.

Have you tried hard reseting your console by holding down the power button for 30 seconds before releasing and pressing the power button again to see if that fixes the problem?

There is currently an active service alert that is causing the Microsoft store to not work effectively, but you can select
the notify me option on the alert to get notified when the store is back up and running.
