Error changing Gamertag in UK

you need to change your region using the link bottom left of this page, to United Kingdom, I've just done this and paid £7.99 to change my gamertag

You cannot change the country that your Gamertag was entered when you went through the creation process. For example, you cannot change from the UK Dashboard that has UK content etc to the New Zealand dashboard with a Gamertag. Your gamertag will remain
as it was in the UK.

You can sign into Passport.net and go into the Account Management and change your Local to New Zealand. However like I have mentioned above, everything on your XBOX 360 and the Xbox LIVE Dashboard will remain the UK.

Your account was created in Norway but you now live in the UK. If your cards and paypal address are for the UK this is why you are getting the error message.

You will have to create a new gamertag with a UK address to match the payment info in order for the cards to be accepted.

I live in the UK and have been trying to change my gamertag - I get right up to the payment, but when entering my details it does not recognize that I am from the UK and asks for state/province - I cannot enter this as no UK option, so cannot change my gamer
tag - any suggestions?
