Discus and support Error by Gamertag chnge in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, a long time ago I've created a Gamertag - but it has been saved as a lowercase-word.     Hi,

    a long time ago I've created a Gamertag - but it has been saved as a lowercase-word. So, everytime if I want to change it I got the error (below).

    Does anybody else get this error? Could anybody help me? The support of the hotline couldn't help me...

    i need to Know something Xbox!?

    if your gamertag has is Niqqas LOVE KFC will you just make them change theyre name or what? i need to know so i can chnge my GT: or if you could please give me a FREE GT change... i am realizing that my GT is racist and i am sorry!

    Hi,

    a long time ago I've created a Gamertag - but it has been saved as a lowercase-word. So, everytime if I want to change it to a Gamertag with up- and lowercases I get the error that my Gamertag is already token (OK, logic(thanks windows server)).

    Does anybody else get this error? Could anybody help me? The woman of the support-hotline couldn't help me...

    The system doesn't see things like spaces or uppercase/lowercase letters as making a gamertag unique. So when you try to change your gamertag to the same thing but with different cases, you're already using that tag. You would need to change it to something
    else and then change it back.

    The system does not recognize the difference between the case of letters so simonmicro is the same as SimonMicro. If you want to make changes to the case you will have to change your tag to something else and then change it back using the correct case.
    However, that will be two different changes that you will be charged for.

    Okay, thanks! I hope the Support will fix that bug - otherwise they would make a lot more money; every namechange cost about 10€ // $!

    You would need to change your gamertag to something else and then change it back in order to change capitalization
