Error 8027025A - Games on Xbox One won't start after most recent firmware update on ...

I searched the Xbox Forums and I wasn't able to find answer that has resolved my issue.

But ever since my Xbox One downloaded and installed the latest update, none of my games whether it is disc based like Madden 16 or digital version like Disney Infinity 3.0, nothing plays. I either get Error 8027025A - Game took too long to load, or the
screen freezes and I'm forced to reboot.

I tried pressing down on the Xbox logo on the Xbox for 10 seconds and rebooted it several times, with no success.

I even tried disconnecting all the cables for 1-2 minutes and reconnected them, and that doesn't work either.

I have also tried uninstalling a game like Disney Infinity 3.0 and reinstalling, and no success.

Please help... I bought this during Black Friday 2015, so it's less than 1 year old.

After the most recent update on XBOX ONE my gears of war 2 has quit working. I go to load the game and it freezes on the "press start"

Same problem for me. I have tried to reboot several time and still cant get the games to load. Please fix this.

I am having this same issue. None of my games or my apps are working. I have tried power resets, as well as the manual update, and nothing works. The entire system is now is very sluggish! And please don't tell me to have to fix it by reformatting/wiping
the Xbox clean. If that winds up being the final fix, I am done with Xbox!

 

I'm having the same issue. No games will work whether they're digital or disc-based. My system is also very sluggish and often times, freezing when attempting to load an app (or anything really).

 

Same exact problem here. I have tried calling support, but the calls keep getting dropped from Support's end in mid conversation.

 

I'm having the same problem I've tried everything but when I press the restart console button it takes me to a black screen and does nothing

 

Guys, I'm back up and running!

I performed a console reset, leaving the games intact.

To do this, go to Settings, All Settings, System, Console Info & Updates, Reset console, and finally select Reset and keep my games and apps.

When I did mine, my Xbox went to a black screen, and I let it sit there for a while, maybe 20 minutes or so. I removed the power, gave it 30 secs, and plugged it back in. The console restarted, and I had to enter all of my info (location, time, etc.), like
when you first turn it on.

Once it was back up, the first thing I noticed was that the "sluggishness" was gone. I ran a game from disc, one from the hdd, and an app. All are working now!!

Exact same issue. Anyone else try Yanks reset? I don't want to lose my game data

 

I haven't tried it yet... I also waiting to see if this was successful for anyone else.
