Error 8016FE6D - Something needs to be done already!

Looks like the purchase history was temporary and now it displays. Has anyone here found a fix for the error code issue or a reasonable workaround?

 

although having the main alias as the one for your xbox make it work, now for 365 you can change it back after you use your xbox, also some other things include below:

You get the following error when you try to move your gamertag from one Microsoft account to another Microsoft account:

8016FE6D

This may mean that the original Microsoft account or your Xbox Live account is in one of the following states:

The Xbox Live account has a past-due balance.

The current Microsoft account associated with the Xbox Live account is deleted or expired.

The Xbox Live account has been flagged for unauthorized access.

The Xbox Live account has a local currency balance.

The Microsoft account you are trying to move your gamertag from is under 30 days old. (This helps prevent your gamertag from being stolen by an attacker.)

Or, it may mean that the “target” Microsoft account is ineligible because:

That Microsoft account is associated with another Xbox Live account.

That Microsoft account is associated with a billing account.

so I hope this gets solved for all of you smart people that dont know how to solve a weird xbox problem.

After several more hours with support today it looks like the email account that was associated with my gamertag was not the one that displays on my Xbox and Xbox.com. It appears that the last time I changed the Microsoft account associated with my gamertag
(many years ago) the migration did not complete so if there is such a thing as a partially expired account that is what was still linked to my gamertag and all my transactions looked like they were with the updated account. So the rep had to remove my subscription
from the partially expired account. I was fine up to this point with how this was handled with support however they sent me to another group to get a new token for my subscription since my gold account was taken down to silver and the phone rep hung up on
me now I have no code and a silver account.

RitzyBiscuit7 - On my console I am prompted to sign up for gold now when I am signed in and I have no Xbox LIVE subscription. I have to call again today to support to get my token since the tools were down yesterday.
