    so i bought Fallout 3 GOTYE (which is backward compatible) to play on my Xbox one, however, when i tried to save my progress it made me sign into my 360 accounts. which I don't have on my Xbox one. so clicked download profile and entered my email and password
    and it bought up an error reading" That password didn't work. Make sure your password is between 6-16 characters or use your app password if you set up two-step verification" so I got out my app password and typed it in. It then brought up this error " Sorry
    ,theres a problem with your credential you are to sign in. Go to https://account.live.com to fix the problem. 80150A9" so i followed the link and it just brought me back to the security page with NO HELP.

    Just to verify was your account associated with a parent or child account? If yes I suggest you to follow the steps in this support link:

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-801540A9

    It doesn't matter if it is in the xbox one section for as I see it this is an account issue.

    Hi Andrew,

    I'm sorry to hear this is happening. We'll be glad to assist you further with this, I do have a question I would like to clarify. Since you're attempting to play this game on the Xbox One and it's asking you to sign in to your 360 profile, do you attempt
    to download a complete different profile from the one you're signed in to the Xbox one? Reason I ask this is a common thing that happens when It prompts to have you download the profile on what appears to be the '360 dashboard' on the Xbox one you just need
    to re-download the profile you have/ are signed in on the Xbox One.

    Now, if you're trying to sign in and it is the same account for Xbox one and the 360 and it's prompting you this error code then this troubleshooting article may help further
