    When, or if, this behavior changes, could you reach out to your ISP and have them know about your sitaution, to see if this problem is related within your ISP's realm.

    Keep us posted and *crossed fingers* it'll stay this way (up and running).

    Try phone BT and have them know about your situation and if they have any records similar in regard to your situation.

    Sorry to interrupt but i have a question on when this is happening.

    Is it always the next time you are try to log in that the disconnection issues arise or is it when you finally can play for a view hours and all of a sudden the connection disappears?

    It happens anytime when I'm playing.

    Ok. Thanks for that.

    Pity. Should it have been that if the connection issues are present the next time you are try to log in I thought of the internal IP address maybe changed. Can happen but in this case its excluded.

    I think its best to call your ISP what taidara suggested.

    not me.

    i can login to xbox live not problem. as soon as i try to play it disconnects me.

    the 'test connection' always comes back as ok. it tests fine all the way to xbox live.

    all things internet work in the house wirelessly, my xbox is hard wired.

  9. as soon as a game starts it boots me from xbox live. otherwise i can connect normally fro the home screen.

    Ok. I've changed the DNS settings and I'm connected to live.

    None of this seems to work. I just disconnect every 5 minutes now.

    Could it be an issue with my console?

    One more thing; If you haven't already, I suggest that you restore your Xbox network settings to factory defaults, since you have manually IP settings configured.

    Let's try a more aggressive approach.

    Do a hardware reset of your gateway, to force this device back to factory defaults.

    Locate the "Reset" button at the back, or side of your gatway. Press and hold for 20 sec.

    Note! Before you restore you gateway to factory setting, if you use PPPoE/A connectivity mode, which means that you have to use username and password, for the authentication process to your ISP's network, then you have to remember the username and password.

    When your gateway has been restored, acccess the web-utility interface and reconfigure wireless settings (Wireless network name (SSID), Security method (WPA2-PSK with AES) and passphrase for your WLAN (password)).

    UPnP should be enabled by default, but make sure this feature is ticked enable/turned on.

    Reboot your gateway.

    Turn on your console and connect to your WLAN.

    I'm going to ask this once again, is there any chance you can try connect your console with a wired solution?

    Let me know how that goes.
