    Error 80151103 occurs when downloading profile to Xbox 360


    I've scoured these forums, called tech support, and engaged in hours of online chats only to be frustrated to the hilt. Here is what I've tried (all more than once) with no success:

    1. Checked Xbox Live services status
    2. Verified my Microsoft account security information
    3. Changed my password
    4. Removed, added, and updated my security settings
    5. Cleared the system cache on both the hard drive and memory unit
    6. Formatted both the hard drive and memory unit
    7. Deleted and downloaded all updates
    Please help. At this point, I'd be willing to dump my gamertag, cancel XBL, and start all over again.

    Are you sure the error code is 81051103? That number seems to not represent an error. Do you mean 80151103? If so, that error code signifies a problem downloading your Xbox Live profile when you sign in. You can read up more on the issue by clicking the
    link below. Possible solutions include resetting your password or re-downloading your profile then trying to sign in again.

    the best Error code :80151909

    The problem is: Error 80151909 occurs when playing games after signing in xbox live and never occurs when downloading my profile . support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup just shows the way to solve downloading profile condition which is useless.

    Hi there!

    I know it can be quite frustrating as those are the steps listed under the error code 80151103 upon searching on Xbox.com:

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-80151103

    Here's what I'd like us to try though and just to be sure, you might have to repeat some steps you already did previously.

    1. Make sure there are no copies of your profile on the console. Go to System Settings and under your Storage check the Gamer Profiles folder if your profile is listed there., If it is, delete it so as to start anew.

    2. Clear the system cache of the storage where your profile was deleted.

    3. Go to http://account.microsoft.com/ and under Security & Privacy, select Check Recent Activity. Look for items where it shows you that you logged in your Account. Select "Yes, this was me" on
    those items.

    4. Download your profile on the console as you normally would.

    I hope this would help you out.

    I selected "Yes, this was me" on 10 items. Still receiving error: Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later. 80151103

    Hi again!

    Are you getting the error code when you are already downloading the profile or as you are signing in? If you have already updated your passwords and security information (alternate email and phone numbers), then we're leaning at the 3rd possible cause of
    the issue listed on the page which means the problem lies with the Xbox Live profile that's stored on your Xbox 360 console. If it's possible, can you try to download your profile on another console or another storage device?

    I hope that works for you and tell us any developments if any.

    Hello everyone, I was just going to start a new thread regarding this issue, but seeing this, I figure I'd jump in as well.

    I just created a new silver xbox live account, and figured I would start playing a game. I inserted the disc, game was updated, all is well - then I suddenly get disconnected from xbox live after the update. I tried to sign in two more times, I could not,
    then I deleted my profile from the hard drive and attempted to download it. I continually received the 80151103 error. I have also verified my email address with my live account. I do not see how I could be having any issues with my profile, seeing as I just
    created it within the last two hours, as of the time of this posting.

    Can anyone offer some assistance?

    just to be sure, can you execute the following steps in that exact order:

    1. Check account.live.com/.../manage to see if at least two security proofs are setup and verified.

    2. Delete your profile from the console, be sure to delete only the profile, to do so check this link:

    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete


    3. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache


    4. Turn the console off.

    5. Turn the console on.

    6. Clear the console cache one more time

    7. Redownload your profile.(See the same link as 2.)

    Under Security info helps keep your account secure, verify your email addresses and phone number. Add or update this security information if necessary.

    Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

    Try to sign in to Xbox Live again.

    Solution 3: Reset the password for your Microsoft account

    For information about how to reset the password for your Microsoft account, see Change your Microsoft account password.

    Solution 4: Redownload your Xbox Live profile

    To redownload your Xbox Live profile, follow these steps:

    First, move your Xbox Live profile. Here's how:

    Format a spare USB flash drive as a memory unit.

    Plug the flash drive into your console.

    From the Dashboard, go to settings, and then select Storage.

    Select All Devices.

    Select Gamer Profiles, and then select your gamer profile.

    Select Move.

    Select the memory unit that you want to move your profile to.

    Remove the USB flash drive from your console.

    Clear the System Cache. Here's how:

    Press the Guide button on your controller.

    Go to Settings and select System Settings.

    Select Storage or Memory.

    Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

    Select Clear System Cache.

    When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

    Restart your Xbox 360 console.

    Redownload your Xbox Live profile. For information on how to do this, see Download your Xbox Live profile to a different Xbox 360 console or redownload it.
