Error 80150017

Hello when ever I try to download a game for free with GOLD on the Xbox 360 I get error 80150017. For whoever is unaware of this error it says sorry, something went wrong. This isn't available for your region, or the file is corrupted, or we don't recognize
the format. Currently I am trying to download assassins creed 3 and about 2 weeks ago I tried to download Lego star wars the complete saga although back then I thought the error was correct because it is an old game and I thought the file format was old but
2 weeks earlier I had downloaded the force unleashed 2 and the first episode of the walking dead series without a problem. I live in Australia and have my accounts personal info set to Australia and my billing contact info set to the united states I am unaware
of how to change the country for the billing contact info because there is no drop down menu. I know that neither of those games are region locked because I signed into my friends account who also lives in Australia and he has both of the games pending download
on his console and I know its not my console because I was able to start the download on my friends Xbox account on my console. I will add that I was considering purchasing an Xbox one and Purchasing a 12 month subscription with Xbox GOLD but I will no longer
be doing that if I do not have access to all features which means that I won't by GOLD if I can't have free games with GOLD and everybody else can.

Download Fable III for Free

When I trying to download the fable III for free the XBOX Live window shows an error message "Sorry, somethong went wrong..." "... Status code 80150017"? On support error guidelines there´s only information about error 96-80150017 not for 80150017(only)

Someone could help about that, I would like to download this game.

I’m getting “region” errors

Isn't work, just error 80150017 -_-u

 

It's because of your account region which you do need to fix

Console.locale has no.bearing on the account region

You can't have Australia account region and a us billing info it doesn't work that way

You have to use the region migratjon tool undef my account and change my region on this website

 

I am having the exact same problem but it appears that no one is willing to help with this issue....
