Did you queue from your console or your uk website.if you queued from the uk site that wouldbe why

Instead ofusing obscure internet work arounds why not use terms of use actual approved methods

When using the site you must switch to youractual region

Using the consolesaves that issue since it already set to your actual region

Hitman wasnt even region loxkes and the other posters alrwady oosted incorrect regions o. Region locked content

So please make your own thread so you have your own troubleshooting

You may also want to do an ip trace to see if you are getting an geoip that is correct

Some isps dont route you correctly

If you are using google dns or an isp that is using uk vpn to reroute access to content

 

Region locks are clear issues

Common because people want us or uk content rather then their legal content

Trying to reroute access to content you arent supposed to have is an violation of the terms of use

Using the website to gain accesss to content may not mean you have access to the rigjt content

Some content is limited in the language and local support

One pack maybe english french russian etc

The correct regional content maybe polish spanish danish etc

Thats why you must use the correct marketplace

 

And as pointed out half your arguement is useless since romainia isnt even a xbox live region

Your physical ip and your account region must match

Billing region wont help if your isp reoutes you to germany ir russia

Or using a vpn

 

hey guys been updating the past few forums alot of people are running into this problem and i have the solution simply go to :
live.xbox.com/.../AccountMigration and migrate you account to where you actually ARE if your in Romania migrate to Romania if your in the US migrate it to US very simple and only a
few steps are needed

 

Excepr romania isnt an xbox live region

The migration tool only works if the region you are migrating to is an xbox live region

 

What people dont relieze is that their region actually has to match their actual location for the best experience with live and other services

People feeel they aee entitles to something that they arent entitles to like out of region content

I live in Poland, i pay for GOLD and xbox live is supported here. I cant download Mafia 2 but i had no problems with any other free gold games like Hitman Absolution or Gears of War Judgment

 

Is your account region polish or uk?

And yes they are different regions

If you are getting thus region error and have the same account region not continrnt you need to do an ip trace

If any part goes to germany or russia then that would be why

You would need to contact your isp

If it is reporting as us as some isps use a vpn you need to take up thwt issue

Region locking is done by the publisher, not Microsoft. Usually if a certain game is not available in your region, they offer a different game. If you have your region set up for somewhere you don't actually live, then that is a different issue.
