Id you want a solution to region free content its easy petition your government to br an xbox supported country

Region locks are due to international laws differences thats not going to change except for non triple a titles since most m rated games have certain controlled topics and licensing issues

Your only option is to wait rill your region is supported

International laws wont change because content is free

@ngocphi it has been said 1000 times that it's not related to billing region/IP. I live in Poland and i have polish billing info....same thing....the same had happened with Hitman Absolution, but it was fixed in a few days...

I think i will be getting the money-back warranty of my recently purchased 1 year code...

I don't get your point. Apparently you can't understand that Mafia 2 region lock is not related to the match of IP and billing info. This is a region lock error for Xbox 360 console. Who talked about download errors???? The same results when you visit xbox.com
and try to get it from there. Where am i wrong???

If you are having an download error rather then 8015001 then you need to make your own thread

Mismatched regions is not a mistake

Billing info can be anything as long as its valid but if your account region doesnt match your actual region

This exludea us foreign bases and non continential us terroritories

Fyi you dont get a us geoip on foreign bases

 

It is your host countries isp that gives you a non us geoip there is no way other then a dod connection to get a us ip

 

OK...but do you read what i'm saying or not? Mafia 2 region lock is not related to IP and billing info!!! Forget about this. I have found out that 4 countries from Eastern Europe face this issue, including Poland and Romania. Same IP with billing info, yet
the game region locked. If you try to purchase it through console you get the Error 80150017. If you try to purchase it from xbox.com you get the ''Offer is not available in your region....''

Plus, you have mixed up the errors. The error here is NOT the 8015001 but the 80150017 error.....that's a region lock error for God's sake.

 

Romania isnt a xbox live region do you not understand that

Check your geoip

If you arent in the same region as your xbox live account typically uk No matter how you use the website you cannot get the content because the geoip has tonbe the ssame as your account region

If its poland which is an xbox live issue are you sure its not because they are timing out which is a different issue completely

Only error i seen for poland isnt a region error but a timing out error which is a completely different method to fix

If they are using a slow connection you must keep the connection active rather then background downloading

Romania isnt a xbox livr region so how cant it be a region issue

Since thete is no romanian region most likely be using a uk account

All eerors end in 1 you can do an error check and the first post mentions the region error

 

If you are in poland and polish account region but queueing the uk or us content from the website thst is why you are getting rhe error

You can only queue the polish content

 

i didn't write error 180150017 .......i wrote, as the topic starter.....ERROR 80150017....This is the most common error.

Anyway, the title was able to be purchased today....Polish IP/billing info/xbox.com....after 8 days.

The same occurred with Hitman Absolution, but it took less days.
