Error (-2143322101) when trying to launch games from the Xbox pc app

L4c3rd4 Xbox Ambassador | Independent Advisor posted a solution to a user who had a similar issue:

"First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work:

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and try again."

That is a great improvement however since the issue with File System Error (-2143322101) and no game license still persist. We would like to ask few questions:

1. Are you the administrator of the computer?
   
2. When you launch Xbox app, can you see Fall Out 4 on the Xbox library (located at the left side panel)?
   
3. Are other games installed from Xbox app have the same issue?
   
4. Please post a screenshot of the File System Error (-2143322101) error message.
   
5. May we ask for the Windows OS version and build of your computer? Please type WINVER into the Windows search bar and hit Enter.

Let's try another method.

Please, install the Xbox PC app and launch the cloud games from there:

https://www.xbox.com/apps/xbox-app-for-pc

Select the Cloud Gaming tab and launch a game.

Error 0x80070005 occurs when you launch a game or app on Xbox One

You see the following error code when you try to launch a game or app on your Xbox One console:

• 0x80070005

This means that there might be a problem with the Xbox Live service, or that there’s an issue with the item you’re trying to launch.

When you try to launch any game via the Xbox app on the PC it will ask to connect a controller prior to launching.
