Error 204 after system update

I am getting a black screen since i installed a new sytem update.After pulling the power cord i can acces the dashboard again,after it says finishing off the update.The problem is,that no matter what i can't connect to XBL anymore, even though in the network
section it says all services are available. After i shut down the console i am asked to load the update again. In hopes of better luck i download the update again and get the same error screen. Pulling the power cord,back to dashboard with no acces to XBL..

Also i am a preview member but i never changed to the new layout after my friends said it sucked and had tons of issues.But i can't acces the forums over here.Just talked to a microsoft support guy and he couldn't help at all... Said he had several/many people
today reporting this problem didn't know a solution,except sending the xbox back to MS for reperature or searching the preview forums(which i can't access) or waiting for the next major update next week,when eveyone will be forced to get the new dashboard
update. Great that i took a week off to play H5 online.

Same. Enter enter enter... Get error 2-204. And 201. Apple will fix this soon.

 

System error after update

Try booting with the controller the console while pressing and holding sync button on the front of the console (black square above usb ports on S and round white small button on classic 360). This will clear any failed, incomplete or corrupted updates. When
the console gets to the startup screen it should initiate an update is required and with any luck this should correct the problem.
