Error 121003 on this particular device (desktop PC )

On this particular PC, when I attempt to play my Microsoft Solitaire Collection games, I can never get past the "Syncing Data" phase, I always get an error message about "having trouble connecting to Xbox live". The error number that accompanies the message
is 121003. Which causes me to believe that Microsoft is aware of the problem, because they have assigned an error code to it. That error message also provides a link to the FAQ web page. However, on the FAQ web page there is nothing that will resolve the issue.

What I can't understand is that on another desktop, located about 2 meters from this PC, using the same OS (Windows 10 Pro, version 1803 ….. ), connected to the same Router/Modem, does not have the problems described in the paragraph above. The other PC
goes thru the, Sign-in and Syncing Data phases in about 50 seconds. The difference between the two computers, indicates to me, that the problem is caused by software installed on this computer. The problem started when I had to purchase new Windows 10 Pro
OS software for this computer after it crashed. I am hoping that because Microsoft has assigned an error code to the problem, they know what causes it, and how to fix it.

I haven't been able to find any information on the error code 121003 and how to troubleshoot this error.

I confirmed what others suspected. Error code 121003 means your gamertag file on the cloud servers has been corrupted, and Microsoft won't admit it or fix it. Create a new gamertag with new e-mail. abandon the old.

I suspect the other machine may have been set up with a different user account, thus different gamertag, thus not affected.

Need help can't sign in error code 121003.

You cannot play offline either as it still errors "loading your data from the cloud" giving error code 121003.
