Error 116

Hello!

if it worked before the latest update that means it could something on our end.

an option what i could recommend to you is that, you change you child's settings that eases restrictions on different type of games, you can do this by going to My Account > Content restrictions and change the age range to what you feel comfortable with.

if the the step above did not work i suggest that you hover over the game > click the pause button > click Manage games & add-ons > go to Saved Data > hover over the one that says your profiles name > click the pause button > and delete the file (This will
not harm your child's game this will maybe let him access it.

Also always check for updates.

And if no steps work Uninstall the game and then Reinstall the game.

I am running into the same thing with my daughter’s Xbox. It seems that this error has resurfaced with the latest Xbox update.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

You can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that these settings are set to “allow” or “everyone” for your son:

* You can see and upload community creations

* You can communicate outside of Xbox Live with voice & text

* Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites

* You can play with people outside of Xbox Live

* You can create and join clubs

* You can join multiplayer games

Make sure to hit “submit” when you made any changes.

After that, perform a powercycle on the console.

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

If you are trying to FIX the ROBLOX ERROR CODE 116 on the Xbox One, Xbox One S or X here is the step by step as getting there is confusing from directions above:

1. Go to "Settings".
2. Select "Account".
3. If you want change your own account settings, skip to step 5. But if you want to change your child´s account settings then select Family.
4. Select your child's account to change settings.
5. Now select "Xbox Live Privacy".
6. Select "View details & customize".
7. Go down to "Game content".
8. Now go to the 3rd option over that says "You can see and share content" and change it so it says "Everybody".
9. Done!
10. Now you can play Roblox.

It's ok now.

I just had to change the settings to blocked, start the game, leave the game and change them back to allowed.
