    Guys,

    It was with a great pleasure that I've bought Halo: The Master Chief Collection, but for some reason I can't even install it.

    I mean, when I put the disk it asks for a download, which I was aware was needed. But the download always stops at random percentages (usually around 20%, 30%) with the "interrupted download" message. From time to time the console also shows the "0x87e00064"
    error message (claiming my disk is with problems), but I don't know if I can trust that information, as sometimes just removing the disk and inserting it back seems to resolve the issue (at least until the next download interruption).

    I have already deleted the installation and started it all over again, I have cleared the console's cache (by holding the power button for 10 seconds) before removing the installation and trying again, I have even done that three times in a row (as requested
    by an XBox support guy), but still I can't install it.

    The last suggestion from the support was to completely wipe my profile and recreate it, trying to download again.

    Any tips from you guys?

    How Long does Xbox One take to set up?!

    On the Xbox One they will check to see if there are available Game Updates First and download and install them before the Disc so it will take longer meaning it may take a while to actually play the game if the update is rather large. Take Halo MCC for example it has something like a 15gb update so if you were to install the disc it will download and install the 15gb before even installing the disc.

    clean out the persistent storage in your blu ray player as well. then uninstall the game. then take the disc out, do the hard reset by holding down the power button till the xbox turns off.

    unplug from the wall. wait 5 min. then plug back in. reinstall. update. you should be ok

    To those having install issues, do as other have said, make sure to update halo mcc and make sure you have the disc in when installing, the campaign resides under the halo 3 campaign in halo mcc.
