Keep getting error code (0x87c40000 when trying to view the people that i have blocked

:)

 

Can't view the people i've blocked.

You seem to have a lot of problems

Microsoft haven't released any error code lists what so ever so these are just educated "guesses".

Do a hard shutdown of your XB One System

- When the Console is running hold the power button down for 5 seconds. Until it's turned off.

- Pull the power cord out.

- Wait a couple of minutes

- Cord back in, and power up.

When that is done it's time to check the network settings.

Go to Xbox Home / Settings / Network

Check the NAT (Network Address Translation) under Current Network Status. Make sure it says '
Open '

If not, you need to portforward Xbox Live Specific ports from your router to your Xbox.

Also see if you can find any disturbances there. Like Connection problems etc. Try running the Network test,

And see if you have any dropped packages etc etc.

Let me know if that works or not. Or if you happen to have 'Closed' Or 'Strict' NAT types.

I have tried all of that and it's still giving me the error code, NAT status is open and everything.

 

Could also be that you blocked them when you where on 360? And then trying too check them out

Nope trust me.. that isn't the case.

 

Could perhaps be the same as some online services have, when you have blocked a person, you can't even check their profile anymore. ?

Try unblock them, and check it out.. and if you block them again, and get the same error.

Might be a bit cryptic yeah... could say " Sorry can't view a profile that you have blocked"

Thats the only guess thats left, else its a MS bugg.

that's the thing like.. i don't even know who i have blocked.. i know i HAVE blocked someone before but i don't remember their gamertag or anything.

 

its from blocking multiple players , and they block you in return. Once that is done you will see that code.

 

Just add them to your friends list or prefer them.

I get the same error message just attempting to view anything that has to do with my friends list or my profile.

 

That can't be the problem because I never blocked anyone and my account is still new and I get the same error

 

its not on your end i get the same code when i try to go to my feeds it's got to do with the seves status that they been trying to fix for 5 hours i swear xbox needs to hire people who know what they are doing.
