Error 0x80bd003b after connecting SDSSDE81-2T00-G25 to my XSX

Few days ago I bought this drive:

It is quick enough to be able to use it for older games on Xbox Series X. Yet when I connected it to my console I got error message 0x80bd003b saing that this drive is too slow.

Full specs of this drive shows:

Sequential Read Performance

2000MB/s

Sequential Write Performance

2000MB/s

and according to XSX it is too slow?! It would be hilarious if it wasn't so stupid.

Any advise how can I use my new SSD drive on XSX console?!

Problem seems to be fixed. After few complete resets of the console, and few USB port changes it started working all by itself. What was the reason of the problem? I don't know. Most important thing is that it is working now.

Sounds like you are needing to connect the Flash Drive to a computer and format it to NTFS. It will erase any data on the drive but should allow you to use the drive on your Xbox

It most definitely is a 3.0 Drive, the one I have got at the moment is an Xbox One certified Game Drive one. It has a super speed 3.0 cable, just like the others

Nah I get what you mean, but I just wanted to capture my gameplay, and what I did worked for me

This happened to me too. I just bought me a brand new flash drive 3.0 USB, and now it's giving me this error for some reason. Have you found a fix or solution?
