    Hello, I bought xbox series x.
    I would like to be able to use my home theater system with 5.1 audio connected to the tv (samsung q70 2019) via hdmi ARC
    When I try to turn on the "5.1 uncompressed" audio option I get an error message: 0x80bd0009.
    Do you have a solution?
    With the previous xbox one I didn't have this problem.

    "Digital" Audio via toslink.

    Try using DTS 5.1 surround, its actually better then dolby 5.1

    I've installed update and still no Dolby Digital 5.1 as promised. Only two options under optical are DTS Digital Surround and Dolby Digital (not Digital Surround as promised) - what gives?

    There is surround sound for Xbox One games there is just no Dolby surround at the moment.

    Currently you have uncompressed 5.1 & 7.1 and DTS.

    I just installed update this morning and still no option for optical Dolby Digital 5.1. Just gives two options under optical, DTS surround sound, and Dolby Digital. Where do you see option for 5.1 Dolby Digital for the XBone? Looks like this still doesn't
    produce 5.1 thru optical for DD.

    I changed the HDMI cable from the soundbar to the tv. Then I installed Dolby Atmos and followed the set-up instructions. When I changed the audio box for HDMI audio 5.1 compressed to bitstream out, I got the 0x80bd0009 error code again. Looks like
    I'm back to square one again.
