Error 0x80a40019 but network test all good.

We live in the country slow internet we can use you tube use google do emails etc but cant connect to xbox live. But in town on fibre no problems so I can not add new account or set as home xbox so can not sign in and play my games. Network test says
all good and xbox live up and running new update had to be done in town on sons fibre connection as wouldnt update on mine.

All sorted my internet provider has a safe mode that was blocking it. Turned it off no more problems.

Hi thanks for that I have tried that but same result. I checked on my ipad and xbox live is running fine in my area. Also xbox live is running fine on my 360 so its a problem with my xbox one x console not internet or xbox live. I had to send my xbox one
back to be rest to factory due to it getting stuck on the latest update. When I tried to set it up at home it still wouldnt do update to start xbox so I took it to my sons who has fibre and set it up at his house. It all worked fine but wont let me sign in
or set up account at home. Is that because its attached to his IP address ?

I am here in Panama and I get the same thing from time to time from an Xbox One, a One S and unfortunately my Xbox One X. I found that my latency is at around 130ms and I am trying to get Fiber to resolve or improve the issue. What were the results of
your network test?

Hello Chickenhoop,

We understand that you're unable to add your account onto your Xbox One console, and wonder if this has to do with the console being attached to your son's IP address.

These would have no correlation as IP addresses typically change on their own whenever the console is first started up again.

After the provided troubleshooting above, it would be best to attempt a
soft factory reset:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

Try this and let us know the results.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Based on the error code you received ( 0x80a40019 ) it sounds like there was a possible
Xbox Live Service alert in your area. We recommend that you
restart your Xbox One console and disconnect your power cable from the back of the console for about 10-15 seconds, then reconnect it to reset the power supply prior to turning it back on. After that, then you may try again.

Give this a try and let us know the results, please.
