Error: 0x80a40008

My Xbox one suddenly has this error when I try to access my Privacy settings, my home xbox, modify my pin... I had done factory reset with USB, but same error occurs... any idea what happened?

This error pop-ups whenever I try to recover my account, my account was working fine like two days ago. Anyone know what this means?

I just had this done. I got it to work once i deleted that Xbox One Preview Beta app. Once i deleted it, i shut down system booted it back up and signed it and it worked. Hope this helped.

I had done that.

I did the last resort, hard reset the Xbox One, but same error...

I already passed the case to Xbox support, they don't have any answer yet.

Here is the situation:

1. Xbox shows all network service are normal, NAT open,

2. I can download and play games

3. when I try to access "my home xbox", privacy settings.. it hangs there, and sometimes with error messages cannot connect service.

4. If I use my mobile phone as hotspot, Xbox can access those settings.

5. I have not change any of my router settings, or ISP, and Xbox one shows all services are normal.

 

If this functioned correctly using a hot spot, but the issue persists while connected to your home network, that would indicate that this may be network issue. Could you post back which region you're physically located in, and which ISP you have? Additionally,
please post back the brand and model numbers of both your router & modem so we can drill into this further!
