Error 0x80a30204

All went well, I turned off my xbox one and I bet sleep, the next day I

wake quiet, and I want to turn on my xbox one, this one starts, but puts

however much more time than usual, after the green screen containing the xbox logo has passed, a black

screen appeared, I had to wait about 15 minutes before finally seeing

the home display.

the automatic connection to my account had not worked, so I found it odd, but I thought it was just a bug. So

I press the xbox logo on my controller, and i went up, via this menu,

to the small menu of connections, where you can see all the accounts

registered on the xbox, I have selected my account and j I waited about 20 minutes, before finally, a message of errors

appeared, telling me that an erroneous was produced and that if i retry,

it should work.

So I retryed, 1 times, 2 times, 12 times, and it absolutely did not want to work.

the error message indicated that an error had occurred

with the code (0x80a30204)

so I have to search on the internet all the forums and sites to help

me, I even found an answer on this site (microsoft help forums)

They all say you have to

unplug all the cables from the xbox one, wait about 5 minutes, then

reboot all the cables and re-light the xbox one

People say that it worked for them

So I tryed, 3 times, without success

and I really do not know what to do

Anyone to help me please?

cant log into xbox live

I cannot log into xbox live. I keep receiving error code 0x80a30204. Any suggestions?

Hard reset the xbox by holding the power button until it completely turns off or unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds. Then turn it on this way. Push and hold the bind and eject buttons. While those buttons are being held, push the power button
to turn it on. Keep holding the bind and eject buttons. The xbox will chime twice, release the bind and eject buttons. You will be at the trouble shoot menu. Pick reset xbox. Here you can choose "keep games and apps" or "keep nothing". This will reset your
xbox to factory defaults with or without your games and apps based on your selection. I was struck with a corrupted system file from my preview alpha skip a head dashboard. I had to do this.

I did a Hard reset and it worked for me on error code 0x80a30204. For a Hard reset hold power button on console down for 10 seconds then power it back on.

If you could provide us with some insight as to what troubleshooting steps you have attempted, that way we don't not provide any redundant techniques for you.

Additionally there was a post
here where Xbox Forums Ambassador choppyseize suggested clearing the MAC address of the console.

This can be done by following these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.
Scroll to the right and under the System tab select
Settings.
Scroll down to Network and select Network settings.
Select Advance settings.
Select Alternate MAC address, and choose the option that reads
Clear.

This will reset your console to take effect. Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

Still have to pay for PSN now unfortunately there is nothing on the PS4 that I remotely want and won't ever get one unless something changes my mind. Right now I am just annoyed as I was on my live account just fine yesterday and was able to play offline
mode.

I don't want a copy paste answer I gave them the error code follow the steps. I want a clear answer on how to fix this issue. This is what I want mostly so I can enjoy my new games.
