Error 0x80a30204 can't log in

I'm still having this issue. I am a member of the preview program, and I have done the power cycle. Twice. Exactly as the instructions state. If I look at my internet statistics, everything looks perfectly fine. If I try to sign in in offline mode, it says
I need to be connected to Xbox live. Very frustrating.

Hey Guys! Are you members of the Insider program at all? Are you able to sign in if the console is in offline mode? I would suggest starting with a

Hard reset the xbox by holding the power button until it completely turns off or unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds. Then turn it on this way. Push and hold the bind and eject buttons. While those buttons are being held, push the power button
to turn it on. Keep holding the bind and eject buttons. The xbox will chime twice, release the bind and eject buttons. You will be at the trouble shoot menu. Pick reset xbox. Here you can choose "keep games and apps" or "keep nothing". This will reset your
xbox to factory defaults with or without your games and apps based on your selection. I was struck with a corrupted system file from my preview alpha skip a head dashboard. I had to do this.

I did a Hard reset and it worked for me on error code 0x80a30204. For a Hard reset hold power button on console down for 10 seconds then power it back on.

If you could provide us with some insight as to what troubleshooting steps you have attempted, that way we don't not provide any redundant techniques for you.

Additionally there was a post
here where Xbox Forums Ambassador choppyseize suggested clearing the MAC address of the console.

This can be done by following these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller.
2. Scroll to the right and under the System tab select
   Settings.
3. Scroll down to Network and select Network settings.
4. Select Advance settings.
5. Select Alternate MAC address, and choose the option that reads
   Clear.

This will reset your console to take effect. Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!
