    Error 0x80820002 Help


    I've been getting this error code all day. Before it only happened every couple of weeks and was quickly resolved but now nothing seems to work. I cannot play any discs and the only helpful articles I can find are from way back in August.

    The error code I'm getting is 0x80820002.

    Any blu Ray dosc I insert (games and movies) result in this issue. I have tried performing a hard reset several times but it continues to persist.

    Any advice? Can I exchange it at my local Microsoft Store? I've had it since Early december 2013.

    Same here....Christmas morning....Set everything up.....Had trouble getting on live....then it later worked....Updated console and it doesnt read a single disc. Brand new out the box.....Tried all the reset and leave the power unplugged. Nothing works.....It
    must have a bad drive......Very Sad that so many people are experiencing the same problem and what a terrible day to be so disappointed. I bought a brand new one and I want a brand new one. This will turn people away from Microsoft products if this is
    not resolved in a proper manner. My son had a 360 and wanted the new one. He is very disappointed and I am too......Got this on black Friday and had no clue that this was a issue. I would have tried it out to make sure it worked if I knew this was a known
    problem. Very Sad on Microsoft.
