Error 0x803f800e Looks-like-you-need-to-renew-xbox-game-pass

I buyed Rocket League 2 years ago as code and played it very often

and want to play it.

2 Weeks ago i wanted to test Forza Horizon4 and joined Gamepass. Then i canceles gamepass. Today i wanted to play Rocket League and i cant start it anymore. and get the message feo the topic. I cannot statrt it offline and not online. i reseted completely
my console and reinstalled rocket league 2 times. it does not start. i dont want to buy gamepass only to play my already buyed rocket league.

please help me.

Hi everybody, I have contacted microsoft support and it did not really helped. I retried something and reinstalled 4 times the game and it worked. It's ok now, hope this does not happen next time. Thank you very much to everybody. This seems that this
gonna be a mystery.

 

Can you uninstall the game and install it again from under My Games & Apps and going to ready to install list?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. When you reset the console, did you do a factory reset or a power cycle? Is the account that owns Rocket League set up as the home console profile? We recommend attempting to launch the game from the Games
& Apps section of the console. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

i did a factory reset. yes it is a home console ( no gamesharing or accountsharing ) everything was buyed normally with my account.

 

it does not matter from where i start the game. the error occurs everytime ( i started from games @ apps) i also started from link to my homescreen nothing helped.

is it possible to buy the game again with a code in the same account or would the new code not work?

Thank you for keeping us updated. Did you complete the factory reset that keeps games and applications installed on the console, or the factory reset that removes everything? Did attempting to launch the game from the Games & Apps section of the console
help? We recommend testing the license for the game by attempting to launch the game from a different account. Since the account that owns Rocket League is set up as the home console profile, the account should be sharing the license with all accounts on the
console. Let us know if this helps!

 

i cant start it from another account. i created a new one on my console but i dont have gold membership with this new account.

I reseted the console now fully 4 times complete.

it does not work. can you „delete“ in my account that i had gamepass membership in the past? maybe then it could work again.

one of our account specialists just so they can review your Rocket League license. To set this up, do the following:

1. Go to
Xbox Support

2. Select My Account

3. Select No Thanks

4. Select Error messages and codes

5. You will be given a few options make sure to select Request a call form support

i already contacted the support on friday. i was told they would call me on the afternoon to help but they didnt. i csmceled my gamepass normally without problems. inly this rocket league problem occured and is still frustrating me. maybe you could send
me a gamepasscode for 14 days and i could play my game again and during this time the problem could be solved. on my side i think i have done everyhting to try to solve tve problem now.

Thanks for keeping us updated! So after requesting a callback, the call never came through? I would say to try again
because it may have been busy. I know in the past when I had to call in, I had to try it twice before I was called back. Also, since this is forums, we do not have access to accounts like Customer Support does, so we would not be able to provide a 14 day free
trial of Gamepass. I would like to mention, if you have Microsoft Rewards it is possible to get Game Pass or even Xbox Live Gold using the points earned on the account instead of cash.
