Error (0x80131509) when installing the Xbox App

Hey, thanks for responding! Unfortunately, this also did not work for me The Xbox app now rapidly opens and closes the login screen when I attempt to log in, and the console companion app is giving me error code (0x409) 0x80131509.

1) launch powershell

2) Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

You have to select (Yes to All)

3) Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Restart your system

So, based on the screenshots and information you have provide there is a notable error messages that is displayed.

If you noticed on the screenshot on Microsoft Store, it says something about the Administrator approval to install. That might mean that you are currently not signed in as Administrator and will need a password or you need to sign in as Admin to the device to install the app. But again, we still have known issue for the Microsoft Launcher. The error message of Minecraft Launcher: (0x80131509) This could mean update or this could mean that the issue regarding Minecraft Launcher is still unresolved. However, I have found a thread that could help you with this, please check: Error 0x409 0x80131509.

Therefore, if the Microsoft Store will not allow you to install any application kindly try to switch to Admin of the PC and install the app from that Windows user. If the issue persists, kindly check this thread for an update regarding Minecraft Launcher. Hope that helps!
