Error 0x80073D05 when installing any xbox related app

Olá Aquinatis, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2?

The 0x80073D05 error might be caused by corrupted system files, so you can run a built-in tool called System File Checker and fix corrupted entries:

Type cmd in Windows search box.

Right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator.

Type the following command and click Enter: sfc /scannow.

Wait until the scan is over until and corrupted entries are fixed.

Hello Ricardo, thanks for the quick response but unfortunately that method did not work. The problem seems to be related to the Xbox app itself, not the Microsoft Store. I'm guessing there might be some sort of conflict going on with my previous installation of the app.

Please check that you don't have any update pending in Windows update app

Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

Launch the Microsoft Store app and click on "Get updates" to ensure that all MS Store apps are updated as well.

If this doesn't work

At the command prompt, type the following then hit Enter:

Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Exit Powershell then restart.

I am unable to install the Xbox app (and therefore use my game pass I have paid for) as it gives me a: "Something unexpected happened. Code: 0x80073D05"

I have looked all over the internet, I have done a sfc /scannow - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the store via powershell, I am running out of ideas for a problem that seems unfixable now.
