Error 0x80073cf2. Problem installing Far Cry 4. Brazil. Enough HDD space. Xbox One

I just bought Far Cry 4 on Xbox Live Brazil using my own account.

I confirmed the payment on billing.microsoft.com

Download does not starts.

The game appears on "my games and apps", but stays in "installing" and "queue" loop for several minutes.

After that, appears a "instalation interrupted" message and an exclamation point in the game.

When I try to install the says "something went wrong".

The message displays the error code 0x80073cf2 and the website xbox.com/errorhelp

The website provided doesn´t recognize the error code.

I´ve tried several times to unninstal and re-install the game, soft reset and reset internet modem and router.

I tried to install other game that I own and it works just fine.

I have 188GB on free HDD space.

Xbox one FIFA 14. Cannot install, just queues. Error 0x80073cf2

Still no luck. Caught in a cycle of queued/installing/installation stopped

Tried to uninstall then reinstall - same error 0x80073cf2

 

Reinstall game error 0x87e000064

Had to uninstall game to clear up some space and now cannot reinstall Far Cry 4

Gets to about 31% and error 0x87000064 disc dirty error

Disc is immaculate

Have had this problem before with uninstalling and reinstalling Destiny and had to buy the game again for it to work.

Don't want to buy Far Cry 4 again but how do I fix this error?

P.S. I get the feeling this is some form of copy protection error as the disc installs fine on another xboxone.

 

My region match as always.

I just downloaded and installed a a free game successfully.

I'm sorry to hear about the install issue. Thanks for posting up the detailed information, as it allows me to better understand what is happening on your end! When you have some time set aside, I would suggest trying these steps below in this particular
order to see if we can get
Far Cry 4 to fully install for you.

1. If you haven't already,
   cancel your download/installation of Far Cry 4.
2. Power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
   
3. Once your console is completely off, unplug the console from the power source and give it a few minutes.
   
4. Then, plug all the cords back in and turn the console back on.
5. Sign-in to your profile and try
   reinstalling Far Cry 4.

If the steps above don't seem to do the trick, please post on back here and lets us know. Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, I did all the steps, but it did not work.

After, I did a hard reset. Re-configured the console. tried to install the game. Didn´t work either.

I don´t know what to do anymore.

I´m installing the other games and apps. Works on all of them, except Far Cry 4, that shows the same issue.

I wonder if I can return the purchase and just buy the game on DVD, and affraid to buy any other game online.

Hope there´s something Microsoft can do to fix it.

 

hi, i had the same problem, the same game far cry 4, and does n´t begin the installer, the difference is that i am in mexico, but i solved the issue, i changed the region to USA and the language to English, and then the installing began, try it

I changed my region to Portugal and it started downloading and installing until 14%, then got stuck forever. I tried to restart, and then stopped at 2%.

I did a hard reset on my console, did not work.

Now I´m on USA region trying one more time. Seems to be stuck on 1%.

 

It worked!

In USA region went well. And the game is in my language.

I just hope I don´t need to change the region everytime I need to install updates or other games.
