error 0x80073cf2 on digital copy of witcher 3

bought the game this evening.

doesn't appear on ready to install list

have the option to install from the store page

it then shows up in games as queued, but not on the queued page itself

after a few mins I get the above error code

phoned support. did all the usual faffing about with it on and off etc

he removed the licence from my account and reapplied it. didn't fix it

I've factory reset the console. didn't fix it

As it doesn't appear on my ready to install list I'm convinced its a licencing issue, but support don't know the answer. they're supposed to be calling me back :/

Any other ideas?!

Witcher 3 digital copy re-install error 0x80073cf2

So i played the game fine for the first week , digital copy, then last week it wasn't working so i uninstalled , tried to reinstall and no dice.

Did a hard reset , soft reset , played around with my power setting and changed them to energy saving, cleared my cache , nothing

It says "queued" for a few minutes then "installation stopped !". Tells me "something went wrong" and gives me an error code "0x80073cf2" to enter at xbox.com/errorhelp, so i did and came up with nothing. Lol. This is getting kinda ridiculous and I know
i'm not the only one with this problem.

Is my game ever gonna work again ? Should I try to get my money back ?

Witcher 3 brought me here... I'll NEVER buy another digital copy

 

Called them just now, they told me it was an issue xbox has with the witcher meaning a techance issue that "should" be resolved. Not too hopeful if yours has been unresolved in 15 hours but yeah, that was the answer I got. So far this is the only thing
that came up in a Google search for issues.

A lot of money spent on headache and frustration.

 

I'm having the same issue. Seems like it might be a problem the the Purchase and Content Usage service.

Hopefully once that's cleared we can play our game.

 

I bought and downloaded the game it worked just fine intell today and now it won't let me play it.

just a shame I need to download and install all my games after support told me to reset my console as it was an operating system issue
