im still getting the same problem and the trouble shooting seemed to not work my error code says 0x801901F7 0x00000000 0x00000206

i finally got mine to update had to use my iphone as a hotspot wifi yall might try that some reason wind stream wouldnt let it update

agreed. Syncing my phone as a hot spot allowed me to download the update. Buuuuut, since I restored to factory settings my external hard drive isn't showing up at the moment. This frustration will have me unregistering from the preview when I finally get
it fixed

wishing I would have read your post before resetting, contacted xbox support and was told my console is out of warranty and that I will have to get a third party to fix the console because it must be a hardware issue. I am baffled and angry, the console
has never had any issues until now a ran like a dream. I get the update and it's a glorified paper weight that I have to fix. Absolutely ridiculous, the agent gave me a generic reason for updates and how they maintain the console. I cannot wrap my head around
that, can someone please explain how it is possible for this to be a hardware issue maybe I'm missing something.

Same here, I followed the support steps that eventually led me to do a factory reset which was a mistake, now I can't even start my xbox offline. I tried with wired and wireless connection and with a flashdrive with no luck. Some people seem to have success
with updating by tethering a mobile hotspot, but unfortunately my cell phone provider has tethering locked.

I'm having the same problem, apparently the only option I've seen so far is to get a flash drive and update it offline
