Error 0x80070490

Discus and support Error 0x80070490 in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Wife gets this on her one s. Try to close it and pops back up. Console will play movies just fine but can't reach home screen. Any help appreciated.... Discussion in 'XBoX on Consoles' started by tredog65, Apr 17, 2017.

    Wife gets this on her one s. Try to close it and pops back up. Console will play movies just fine but can't reach home screen. Any help appreciated. Have tried errorhelp page but not doing any good.

    Error code 0x80070490

    0x80070490 error code comes up when attempting to play a blu ray or DVD.

    hi

    I am unable to play any movie discs eg DVDs blurays 4k blurays comes up with error 0x80070490

    Error 0x80070490

    Hey there tredog!

    If you haven't yet, go ahead and try
    power cycling     the console. This can help resolve lots of quirks that may pop up from time to time. If that doesn't work, I'd recommend doing a full

    factory reset     of the console if you're still experiencing the same issue.

    Hopefully one of those two does the trick so keep us posted! Error 0x80070490 :)
