    Error 0x80070490


    I have recently started getting an error code of 0x80070490 when starting up my Xbox One.

    I am part of the preview program and noticed there was an update recently so this might be the problem.

    When I look up the code on the error page it tells me it's for an Xbox 360.

    any one else getting this?

    Error code 0x80070490

    0x80070490 error code comes up when attempting to play a blu ray or DVD.

    I am unable to play any movie discs eg DVDs blurays 4k blurays comes up with error 0x80070490

    Hi,

    Does this error occur after the startup or during the Xbox boot logo? Also, can you try to power cycle your console for a few moments. Please completely power down the console and unplug it from the power source. Then, tap the power button to cycle out all
    the power. After doing this, please wait about 5min. before plugging and power the console back on.
