    even the hard reset won't work for me and I can't factory reset because it pops up before I get to the menu

    Is resetting the console removes games

    You can reset and still have the games and apps you choose at the reset screen.

    when you do the hard reset be sure to unplug the console from the out for a minute then plug it back and power back on. Also, you could try to reset your console by going to settings, system, console and updates, reset console and choose to keep everything.
    Your console will restart and bring you to a quick set up screen where you'll sign in again. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.
