Error 0x80070490 on startup of Xbox One and when attempting to use Cortana

Started getting error message 0x80070490 when the Xbox One boots up. The same error message appears when attempting to use Cortana via the Kinect.

I've held the power button for 10 seconds but still get the same error message in the same spots. All games/apps will play/boot up.

Is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

Like the title says, I get the error code 0x80070490. I have done all the suggestion from Xbox Support and reset the cache. Delete my user account. disconnect my Kinect and power everything back on.

I can't use Cortana at all for anything. I can not even go into Cortana setting with out getting the error message.

 

when you do the hard reset be sure to unplug the console from the out for a minute then plug it back and power back on. Also, you could try to reset your console by going to settings, system, console and updates, reset console and choose to keep everything.
Your console will restart and bring you to a quick set up screen where you'll sign in again. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

Is resetting the console removes games

 

yes the same exact for me its been about a month now.

 

I am unable to go into settings right after the start up screen that says XBOX ONE it gives me the something went wrong message and wont allow me to move from that screen. What should i do?

 

This exact same situation is happening to me right now. I can't even factory reset my console because the error pops up as soon as I turn it on. All I can do is turn my console or controller off. Did you find a solution to this problem yet?

 

Because it is doing it right when you turn on your console you are going to have to pull up the troubleshooting menu by holding down the bind and eject button and tap the power button (while the xbox is turned off). Once you do that the trouble shooting
screen will come up and you click on reset this console BUT keep your games and apps. make sure to know your profile password and wifi password since it will take those off until you add it back. This fixes it every time.

the same situation is happening with me to and i cannot go past the error code WHAT THE HELL MY TRIBE IS RAIDING TODAY AND I WANTED TO SEE THE FIGHT!

I have the same problem and it's causing my xbox one to be non-functional. Cannot even access my menu to delete the profile. Hard reset does not appear to work neither, I'm assuming it could be preview related, but I'm not ruling out hardware.

Any help would appreciated. Its there any way to do a hard reboot of the system and start from scratch? I have a 2 TB Gears of War Xbox One.
