    Hope someone can help, I can only install select games on PC from Game Pass and others fail with the error code 0x80070424

    Can't be sure but it seems to be specifically games that require administrator approval. My user account on my PC is an administrator, and I've also tried setting up another administrator account to no avail. I've updated Windows, updated the app, rebooted a bunch (it's been going on for over a week trying to get Kathy Rain to install and now I'm having the same problem with Backbone, although Gears Tactics and Streets of Rage 4 have installed without issue).

    If anyone can help it'd be really appreciated, I couldn't find any support for this particular error code and the call back function on Microsoft support also just throws an error.

    Application Fails after Xbox Game Pass PC Beta

    Just did 2 Clean installs of Windows 10 1909.

    The first install i did all windows updates/Driver updates then installed xbox pc beta game pass then installed 2 games and then attempted to install dragon center from MSI. it installed and then failed to run with the same errors i was getting before.

    The second install i installed driver updates and then installed Dragon Center. Configured the system with Dragon Center. Then installed all windows updates, Xbox pc beta game pass and then installed a game and played. Dragon center still worked after playing
    the game. once i restarted the computer dragon center was broken with the same errors as before. Something is breaking the program in the xbox pc game pass install.

    Xbox Game Pass PC Beta on Windows 10 LTSC

    Hi,

    Not only does Win 10 LTSC not get updates very often, it' is also missing the Windows Store.

    Game Pass on PC uses the Windows 10 Store to download the games, they don't download and install via the app. No Windows Store, no PC Game Pass compatabilty.

    LTSC was designed for mission critical work tasks, not gaming.

    You'll need one of the consumer versions of Windows 10 to use Game Pass.

    Here are the suggested troubleshooting you can perform.

    1. Update PC and Xbox apps(Xbox app/Xbox Console Companion, Xbox Accessories, Xbox Game Bar, Gaming Services).
    2. Restart device.
    3. Turn off or disable any antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall and PC Optimizer.
    4. There are several threads that has a resolution regarding this error code. Kindly let us know if it works to you as well.

      In your PC start menu, kindly search for PowerShell and run it as Administrator. Please copy this line below:

      [table][tr]Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}[/tr][/table]
      Kindly paste this on PowerShell.
    5. Try to install the game.
